Quickly establishing himself as an integral part of the company, Tristan now serves as the Director of Operations, where he oversees all daily business activities, coordinates client projects, and builds client relationships.
In his role, Tristan collaborates with departmental heads to ensure company-wide compliance. He plays a key part in leading our team, ensuring that every project aligns with both client specifications and industry standards. His understanding of construction drawings and operational procedures enables him to manage the execution of design projects, from conceptualization through to completion.
Tristan’s strengths lie in his strong communication skills, ability to problem-solve independently, and his talent for fostering collaboration across departments. JIM STORY
REVIT / CAD DESIGN GENIUS
jstory@howelldg.comJim is a cornerstone of the Howell Design Group team, with many years of dedicated service that have helped elevate our design process from initial sketches to fully realized, precise technical drawings. As a Senior CAD Designer, Jim brings expert knowledge in a variety of software applications, including AutoCAD and Revit, to ensure that every project is executed to perfection.
Jim's skill set spans the full spectrum of architectural design, with in-depth experience in drafting, building systems (such as electrical, A/V, and security), and an acute understanding of building codes and regulations. His ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear, functional designs makes him an essential partner in the design process.
Jim is proficient in developing 3D Revit models and creating well-coordinated sets of plans, elevations, sections, and details. His fluency in Revit and AutoCAD allows him to deliver high-quality drawings that meet both aesthetic and technical standards, while his attention to detail ensures that all designs are both functional and buildable.
His time-management skills enable him to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with architects and team members.

His expertise spans a broad range of critical tasks, including the identification of underground and in-wall conduits, device cabling, device rough-in, and device trim-out. His ability to read and interpret construction drawings allows him to oversee the installation process with precision and accuracy.

FBI SPECIAL AGENT
Brian is the founder of Pinnacle Tactical Solutions. He has been an FBI Special Agent for 30 years, FBI SWAT Team Leader for 26 years. Brian's professional experience includes crisis management, protective services details (PSDs) for Cabinet-level officials, and operational and training experience in Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan. His recognized skills in tactical training and executive protection are held in highest regard within the tactical community - both within the FBI as well as within the Northern California tactical community.

RICK JONES
SWAT
Rick brings more than 30 years of experience in Hostage Rescue, Counter Terrorism, and SWAT Operations.
A decorated combat veteran of the US Navy, Rick served 14 years as a SEAL operator, instructor, and training supervisor working alongside other Tier-1 assets as well as training foreign Special Operations Forces around the world. Rick is the senior breacher and primary tactical training instructor. He has provided tactical instruction in SWAT Operations to dozens of Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the State of California and is a recognized expert in tactical breaching.
Rick’s professional experience also includes Technical Climbing, Dignitary Protection, Maritime Interdiction Operations, and Combat Trauma Medicine.
